Founder Timeline — Waleed Gilani

2011 — Engineering Roots in China

Waleed Gilani came to China in 2011 and began his undergraduate studies at China University of Petroleum, majoring in Petroleum Engineering.
This engineering background shaped his practical mindset and problem-solving approach. Living and studying in China gave him first-hand exposure to Chinese manufacturing culture. He learned how systems, processes, and production truly work on the ground.

2015 — Entering International Trade

In 2015, Waleed entered the international trade industry, focusing on sourcing and global supply chains.
He worked closely with Chinese factories and overseas buyers.
Over the years, he participated in numerous international trade fairs and exhibitions.
These experiences deepened his understanding of quality control, pricing structures, and market expectations.

2023 — Building a Trading Company

In 2023, Waleed founded Shaanxi Mingtong Trading Co., Ltd.
The company focused on connecting reliable manufacturers with global customers.
This stage strengthened operational systems, supplier networks, and long-term partnerships.
It also laid the foundation for creating a brand built on experience rather than speculation.

2025 — Co-Founding Wolfmarsh

In 2025, Waleed Gilani and Faith He co-founded Wolfmarsh.
The brand was created to deliver dependable footwear based on real manufacturing knowledge. Combining engineering thinking with factory-level insight, Wolfmarsh focuses on function and value. Every product reflects years of hands-on experience across production, sourcing, and logistics.

Before Wolfmarsh became a brand, we were an international trading company.

For years, we sourced footwear from China and supplied customers across Canada, the United States, Europe, and other international markets. Working directly with manufacturers and buyers gave us a deep understanding of materials, production costs, quality standards, and what truly affects durability.

This experience is our foundation.
It allows us to focus on what actually matters — not trends, not hype, but function, consistency, and value.
